Warp Factor is a fun new way for kids to study the important concept of factoring. In the game, you are piloting a fuel tanker and need to fill all the smaller spaceships with the appropriate fuel. Tilting the device moves your spaceship left and right. You aim and hit the "Drop" button to hit a corresponding spaceship
as it flies by. So for instance, a "25" in the dropper would match a "5" ship. If your aim is right, and get a correct hit, the spaceship is fueled up and it takes off to another galaxy!
Of course we know that 6 x 4, 3 x 8, 2 x 12 and 1 x 24 all equal 24, but kids will have a lot of fun putting this knowledge to use in Warp Factor. There is also a learning review section that will let your children brush up on the basics of factoring and get some tips and tricks that may come in handy in the classroom.
And the scoring system allows users to save their initials in a list of top scores, so kids can take turns playing and try to beat each others scores, or track their progress by keeping an eye on the points!
